Nelson Playing Fields


Rosemont Elementary School is located at the corner of Crease Ave. and Richards St. West. The playing field is behind the school adjacent to the baseball diamond. Dog friendly. Poop bags available :)

Lakeside Park is located on the waterfront by the Big Orange Bridge. The playing fields are adjacent to the public washrooms and on the South side of the Rowing Club. No Dogs Please. Fines in effect :(

Queen Elizabeth Park & LV Rogers are located in Fairview (North Nelson). Queen Elizabeth Park is on 5th St. between Cottonwood and Behnsen Sts. The playing field is adjacent to the baseball diamond. Dogs welcome. Please bring poop bags :) L.V. Rogers High School is at the top of Cottonwood St. and intersects 6th St. The playing fields are hidden behind the school, adjacent to the tennis courts at the very end of Cottonwood St. Walk along beside the tennis courts. This field can also be reached by using the abandoned railway bed which runs behind Ft. Sheppard Dr. at the top of Stanley St. Exit at the Gravel Pit. No Dogs Please. :(

Trafalgar Junior High School is located in Uphill on Josephine St. between Hoover and Robson Sts. The playing field is at the front of the school (facing Josephine) below the tennis courts. No Dogs Please. :(
